Stamps

For this assignment, I was tasked with creating a cohesive series of postage-style stamps based on a single everyday object. I selected a lamp as my object and developed a set of illustrations that explored the object through three distinct design approaches.

Row 1 - Observational Studies: The lamp was drawn from multiple angles and perspectives to demonstrate technical accuracy, form understanding, and consistency across viewpoints.

Row 2 - Historical & Stylistic Variations: In this row, the lamp was reinterpreted through different stylistic lenses inspired by various eras and design movements. Each stamp reflects the visual language, details, and materials characteristic of a specific time period.

Row 3 - Conceptual & Imaginative Designs: The final row allowed for creative exploration. I transformed the lamp into a series of imaginative designs. I experimented with unconventional forms and original concepts.
