Vibe Soda
For this assignment, I developed an original product concept and created a full brand identity for Vibe Soda, a fictional beverage company. Working under the requirement of using only one primary colour, I selected blue and built the entire visual language of the brand around it. This helped establish a strong, cohesive identity across every branded element.
The project required a fully realised branding package, including:
Logo Design: Creating a bold, energetic logo that reflects the fun, upbeat personality of the product.
Product Packaging: Designing the soda can and box packaging, incorporating rhythmic visual elements inspired by sound waves and music, reinforcing the “vibe” theme.
Poster & Magazine Ad: Developing a promotional poster and applying it to a magazine mock-up, as well as creating a full magazine spread using the grid system to demonstrate professional editorial layout.
Stationery Set: Designing a branded letterhead and business card for a company salesperson, ensuring the brand extends into corporate communication.
Merchandise: Creating branded shopping bags and mugs, showing how the identity could translate to real consumer and workplace items.
Bus Advertisement: Producing a Dublin Bus banner ad, adapting the brand for large-scale public advertising.
This project allowed me to explore the entire branding process from product ideation and logo creation to packaging, promotional design, merchandise, and editorial layout. The final outcome demonstrates my ability to maintain visual consistency across a broad range of applications while developing a fresh and engaging brand identity.
