Elements of Design

For this project, I was asked to pretend to be commissioned by IKEA to create a concept for a piece of ready-to-hang wall art inspired by nature. Before producing the final artwork, I had to create a series of initial sketches in my sketchbook, explore 2–3 key Elements of Design and evaluate how each one influenced my ideas.

Each sketch was annotated with short notes explaining how the chosen element affected the composition, visual interest, and overall mood. These experiments allowed me to refine my ideas and determine the best direction for the final IKEA-inspired nature artwork.
